New Delhi: Change mobile number to Aadhaar: The Aadhaar card is one of the most important documents required to benefit from most financial services offered by public and private agencies. However, to avail of services like opening bank accounts, Demat accounts and various other financial services remotely, cardholders should verify their details with Aadhaar OTP verification.
However, if you do not have access to the mobile number linked to Aadhaar, you will not be able to receive it. But the good news is that you can easily change the number linked to your mobile number.
The Single Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), which manages the Aadhaar card, offers cardholders the ability to easily change their cell phone number. Everything they need to follow the basic steps.
However, to change the cell phone number, cardholders must go to the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center. Here are the steps you need to follow:
First of all, you need to go to the Aadhaar enrollment center or nearby permanent enrollment center to change the cell phone number. After that, you need to contact the person responsible for updating Aadhaar card details.
The official will then ask you to pay the phone number change fee, after which you will be subjected to biometric verification by Aadhaar.
