Oppo Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G launched in India; Know the price, specifications

Oppo finally launched the Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G in India on Friday, February 4. Both Reno 7 series devices already debuted in China in November.

However, the Indian variant of Reno 7 5G differs from its Chinese model. But, it is similar to the Reno 7 SE 5G which debuted alongside the Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G in China.

Oppo Reno 7 5G will rival Mi 11X, Realme GT Master Edition and OnePlus Nord 2 in India. On the other hand, Reno 7 Pro 5G will compete with existing smartphones such as Samsung 20 FE 5G, Mi 11i HyperCharge and Realme GT.

Oppo Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G price in India, availability

Oppo Reno 7 5G has a cost of Rs 28,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant in India. The phone is expected to go on sale from February 17. The Reno 7 5G comes in two color options: Starlight Black and Startrails Blue colors.

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G price in India is set at Rs 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and it will be available for purchase from February 8. Like the Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G will also come in Starlight Black and Startrails Blue color options.

The Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G have introductory offers including 10% cashback. ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Standard Chartered, IDFC First Bank, Bank of Baroda and Federal Bank cardholders are eligible for this cashback offer. There will also be free EMI and EMI refund options.

Oppo Reno 7 5G Specifications

Talking about its specs, Oppo Reno 7 5G has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and up to 180Hz touch sampling rate. Hz. The screen also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

Oppo Reno 7 5G sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel main sensor, along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front.

Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On-board sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer, and proximity sensor. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Oppo Reno 7 5G smartphone packs a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 160.6×73.2×7.8mm and weighs 173 grams.

Specifications of the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G

Like the Oppo Reno 7 5G, the Reno 7 5G also runs on ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 in addition. It is equipped with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, Gorilla Glass 5 protection at 90Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate up to 180Hz.

Under the hood, the phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max octa-core SoC with 12GB of RAM. For storage, it has up to 256 GB of built-in storage.

The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back that houses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor and an f/1.8 lens. The camera setup also features a secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. The camera setup is also paired with a dedicated color temperature sensor.

For selfies and video chats, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G offers a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera sensor on the front. It is the first phone in the world to have an IMX709 front camera.

Reno 7 Pro 5G connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. On-board sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer, and proximity sensor. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Just like Oppo Reno 7 5G, Reno 7 Pro 5G also has a 4500mAh dual-cell battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone measures 158.2×73.2×7.5 mm and weighs 180 grams.
