Previously, it had been proposed to implement the project under a public-private partnership.

The committee also approved a proposal from the Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC) under the Ministry of Agriculture to purchase 800 tonnes of standard JR-524 jute seeds from the National Seed Corporation (NSC) of India via the direct purchase method.

Hogwarts Legacy ‘will have transgender character creation options: report Thu, 08 Apr 2021 02:37:39 +0000

In an effort to push the creator away from his universe, according to Bloomberg sources working on Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy, the game will include options to create a transgender character as a hero.

This move comes after years of Harry Potter author JK Rowling expressing anti-trans feelings, which upset those who work on the game, who instead tried to make it as inclusive as possible (although in the end, Rowling will still be paid for the project).

This type of inclusion is present in the character creator, where players can match a male or female voice to any body type and then just have to choose later if they’re a ‘witch or wizard’, which will determine their placement in the dormitory.

We’ve seen this more often in video games lately, the ability to match male or female voices to any body type, or the ability to designate any gender in the creator (or none). . This can lead to complications at times (Cyberpunk 2077’s various romance options seem to have issues with this system), but overall that’s the direction most games take with character creators, separating the genre from appearance. While obviously it’s particularly noteworthy that this happens in the Harry Potter game, given JK Rowling’s past comments.

What I also find important about this story is that this is not an official Warner Bros. announcement. but from an apparently past leak directly to Jason Schreier. While it looks like this customization option is now in the game, as it’s now common knowledge, they can’t very well go back and remove it as it would look terrible. Schreier says that “everything can change” before the game’s release, but the idea is that after this leak, it really can’t. WB has no comment on any of this at this time for the Bloomberg story, I have contacted them once again and will update if I have any news.

The Harry Potter game would be at least a year away, so we won’t see how it all plays out for some time, although maybe some of them will be showcased in earnest this year. The Harry Potter brand isn’t in great shape right now following Rowling’s frequent comments, but it’s still multibillion-dollar intellectual property, and games, movies and more continue to be developed for her.

We’ll see if this recent development is made official anytime soon, but given how little we’ve seen of the game so far, it seems unlikely, although it can be incorporated into a bigger list of reveals once the game is released. game will begin to broadcast. full.

Paul Arriola joins Swansea City on loan

Well rated

The 25-year-old is highly regarded by MLS fans and a move to Europe has been expected for some time.

Arriola has impressed at right-back since joining DC United in 2018. His attacking flair has drawn particular attention – in 72 appearances, he has scored 14 goals and eight assists.

Arriola also showed his offensive flair on the international stage with the United States. In 35 appearances for his country, he has scored eight times.

In a statement on the club website, DC United General Manager Dave Kasper said: “We spoke with Paul and we understand how exciting this step is for him in his professional career.

Freeman began his career with Nottingham Forest in 2011, making his debut in a League Cup victory over the Wycombe Wanderers.

After loans with Mansfield Town and Notts County, Freeman joined rivals Forest, Derby County 2012. However, a move to Pride Park was not a success, as he only made 27 appearances on a three-year period.

Freeman then joined Sheffield united after a first loan in the 2013/14 season. He made 121 appearances for the Blades before being released last summer.

About GT005

GT005 is designed as a unique, experimental AAV2-based gene therapy for GA secondary to AMD that is administered under the retina. GT005 aims to restore the balance of an overactive complement system, part of the immune system, by increasing the production of the protein Complement Factor I (CFI). Complement overactivation has been strongly correlated with the development and progression of AMD. The CFI protein regulates the activity of the complement system. It is believed that increasing the production of CFI could ease overactivity of the system and reduce inflammation, in an effort to preserve a person’s eyesight.

GT005 is being evaluated in several clinical trials, including:

  • TO CONCENTRATE [NCT03846193]: Open-label phase I / II clinical trial evaluating the safety and dose-response of three doses of GT005 in people with GA secondary to AMD.

  • TO EXPLORE [NCT04437368] and HORIZON [NCT04566445]: Phase II, multicenter, randomized, controlled trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of GT005. EXPLORE is recruiting people with GA secondary to AMD who have rare variants of their CFI gene. HORIZON is recruiting a larger group of people with GA secondary to AMD.

About age-related dry macular degeneration (AMD) and geographic atrophy (GA)

Dry AMD is one of the leading causes of permanent vision loss in people over 50 and is a devastating diagnosis.1 There is currently no approved treatment for dry AMD, its most common form, which affects about 85-90% of people with AMD.2 As dry AMD progresses, it leads to GA, an irreversible degeneration of retinal cells, causing gradual and permanent loss of central vision. This disease can seriously affect a person’s daily life as they lose the ability to drive, read and even see the faces of those close to them.

New York: Trump’s Manhattan properties on debt “watch lists”: CBS News Wed, 07 Apr 2021 23:17:42 +0000
  • Manhattan DA inquiry into former President Donald Trump heats up, Initiated reported on Friday.
  • The investigation places a new review on Trump’s commercial properties.
  • Banks put three of former president’s buildings on debt “watch lists” CBS News noted.

As Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. probe As former President Donald Trump shifts into high gear, four of Trump’s New York properties have come under scrutiny.

Trump Tower, Trump International Hotel and Tower, 40 Wall Street, and Trump Plaza have missed lender income projections for five consecutive years, CBS News reported.

Banks have now placed three of the four real estate holdings on debt “watch lists”, the outlet said.

Mortgage payment processors reported loans related to these three properties due to continued financial underperformance, CBS said.

Wells Fargo and other banks have told investors that reduced income from these holdings, due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic, could cause properties not to generate enough cash to cover their mortgage payments. , CBS News reported.

In addition to presenting Trump with financial problems, investigations into these properties could also pose legal problems.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has subpoenaed a New York property tax agency in connection with the massive criminal investigation, Reuters reported. Prosecutors are looking for signs of possible fraud, the outlet said.

While the exact range of Vance’s sprawling probe is not known, court documents suggest he could investigate whether Trump and the Trump Organization violated New York City laws by manipulating the values of these commercial properties for tax and loan purposes.

The wide-ranging investigation into whether Trump or his companies violated state tax laws could come to an imminent conclusion, Initiated reported on Friday.

John deanPresident Richard Nixon’s White House lawyer who played a major role in the Watergate scandal has said on Twitter that Trump could be charged in just days.

“From my personal experience as a key witness, I assure you that you don’t go to a prosecutor’s office 7 times if they don’t plan to indict those you know about,” said the tweet from Dean.

This refers to Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal lawyer, meeting with prosecutors for the seventh time this week. His last meeting lasted more than two hours, NBC News reported.

Cohen, who was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple crimes, has previously testified before Congress about Trump’s alleged financial mismanagement. In the Testimonial 2019, Cohen said Trump manipulated the value of assets “when it served his purposes.”

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Pregnant women should not take the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), at least for now.

“Although pregnancy puts women at a higher risk of severe COVID-19, the use of this vaccine in pregnant women is currently not recommended,” the WHO said of the Moderna vaccine on its website.

The Moderna vaccine is still recommended for pregnant women who are “at risk of high exposure” – such as healthcare workers, according to the WHO.

The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is also not recommended for pregnant women at this time “due to insufficient data, WHO said on its website, but people at higher risk of exposure should discuss the vaccine with their health care provider.

Kate O’Brien, director of immunization for the WHO, said there was no problem with the Moderna vaccine, but acknowledged that more data was needed, according to a report by Reuters.

Both vaccines are MRNA vaccines, which do not contain the live virus that causes COVID-19 and, therefore, cannot give COVID-19 to someone, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Additionally, “mRNA vaccines do not interact with a person’s DNA because mRNA does not enter the nucleus of the cell,” the CDC said on its website.

Still, the actual risks of mRNA vaccines to the pregnant person and her fetus are unknown, as these vaccines have not been adequately studied in pregnant women, the two medical agencies said.

Other people who should avoid mRNA vaccines include anyone who may be allergic to any of the ingredients in the vaccine and the very frail elderly.

“Although vaccination is recommended for the elderly due to the high risk of severe COVID-19 and death, very frail elderly people with an expected life expectancy of less than 3 months should be assessed individually,” he said. ‘WHO.

And while the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is available for children 16 and older, the Moderna vaccine is not recommended for those under 18, the WHO said.

The WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) recommended that the second injection of Moderna vaccine be given within 28 days, but “the interval between doses may be extended to 42 days,” according to its website.

“Adherence to the full schedule is recommended and the same product should be used for both doses,” the WHO said.

The Pfizer-Bio-NTech vaccine requires two doses. which WHO recommends to be administered with an interval of 21 to 28 days.
