In the coming days, the Single Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will open 166 additional autonomous Aadhaar registration and update centers in 122 cities across the country to facilitate the process. It will help people to apply for a new Aadhaar card or update their existing Aadhaar card more easily.

Model B Aadhaaar Seva Kendras will have up to 500 registrations and update requests per day and Model C Aadhaaar Seva Kendras will have up to 250 registrations and update requests per day.
Increasing the number of Aadhaar Kendras will result in hassle-free work and ease for customers. Currently, there are 52,000 Aadhaar Enrollment Centers operated by banks, post offices, and state governments. “UIDAI plans to open 166 autonomous Aadhaar registration and update centers in 122 cities across the country,” the statement said.
These Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASK) are open every day of the week and are operational from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
